This paper investigated the electrorheological ( er ) characteristics of two suspensions of starch particles ( a ) and aluminosilicate particles ( b ) in silicone oil respectively, and also their transmitting properties on a simulated device of cylindrical er clutch ( erc ) by comparison, only to show that a is a kind of electrorheological fluid ( erf ) with definite plastic yield - point and can be subjected to a narrow voltage range on erc, while b is a kind of pseudo - plastic erf and can be subjected to a wilder voltage range on erc
本文研究了硅油-澱粉（ a ） 、硅油-硅酸鋁（ b ）兩種er流體的電流變性能，並通過一套筒式er離合器模擬傳動裝置，研究且對比了這兩種er流體在筒式er離合器上的傳輸特性。結果表明a是具有塑性屈服點的流體，其在er離合器上有效調速電場范圍較小； b是假塑性流體，其在er離合器上有效調速電場范圍較寬。
