其次，為了提高磨削效率，在刀具路徑規劃方面，採用了雙刀協調運動、相向走刀加工的加工方式，採取變形的「之」字形走刀模式，從而有效的避免了刀具干涉，提高了加工效率。並針對上述的加工方式，對刀位軌跡生成演算法進行了研究，根據機構的特性，基於截面法生成刀具軌跡，通過solidworks的二次開發來獲得牙齒模型的三維表面數據，再利用干涉檢查生成無干涉刀位點數據。
