此外，本文還根據目前交通信號控制方法的不足以及現有的運用模糊控制技術進行交通信號控制研究上的欠缺，提出了基於模糊控制的多相位智能擬人信號控制策略，該控制策略以單交叉口的信號控制為研究對象，通過模擬交通指揮者實際進行交通控制的特點，使控制系統能實時根據各相位車輛的多少進行信號的智能控制，模擬結果表明：與普通模糊交通信號控制方法相比，在兩相位與多相位的模式中可分別減小平均停車延誤平均15和27 。
