本文從微孔的尺度、結構、形態、成分等表面固體特徵出發，概括性地論述了凹凸棒石、海泡石、蒙脫石、沸石、矽藻土等十幾種多孔結構礦物（巖石）在環境修復工程中用作過濾材料、吸附劑、離子交換劑和催化劑等材料時的基本特徵和使用時應注意的問題。
