首先運用了laplase變換獲得了單層gibson地基（壓縮模量隨深度線性增加的地基）在任意荷載下頻域內的一維固結解析解，通過laplace逆變換，基於以上解答用數值方法編製程序對單層地基在常見荷載（驟加荷載、緩加荷載、矩形波載、三角形波載）作用下的一維固結性狀進行了討論，並與傳統的太沙基理論進行了比較。
