So this paper is to study the edition source of zhang ji " 5 anthology and discuss its topic and discriminate its errors by comparing over 20 kinds of editions of song, ming and qing dynasty through investigating the references including the division of chapters, quantity of poetry, alteration of arranging order, preface of inscription, sign of preservation, discrimination of seal, resorting to works of bibliography, so as to ascertain the source of collections and their handing down relationships
