    這是一件雙重慶賀的盛事- -首先榮幸承蒙劉靖之教授捐贈特藏給香港大學；另外，隨之發表由林敏瑩女士（音樂圖書館主任）編撰，並與陳慶恩博士（音樂繫系主任）及裴德龍博士（音樂系副教授）共同結集而成的新書，名為《中國新音樂：香港大學劉靖之特藏》 。
