The programme aims a t cultivating the filmmaking technique of university students at film schools or film departments of tertiary institutions by offering them inputs from industry professionals and opportunity to screen their films at the upcoming 30 th hong kong international film festival april 4 - 19, 2006, thereby encouraging students to be more adaptable to the film industry and market demands and at the same time expanding the exposure of their works to both international media and local audience
由香港藝術發展局及香港國際電影節協會合辦的鮮浪潮大專生短片競賽，以鼓勵大專學生投入電影創作為目標，由電影業內專業人士傳授他們電影製作的秘技，讓他們進一步了解現今電影市場的實況。九間參與的大專院校將各派出一隊參賽同學，拍攝一出不超過30分鐘的短片，再由香港國際電影節協會遴選出入圍作品，在2006年4月4日至19日舉行的第三十屆香港國際電影節放映，並由一個國際評審團選出最佳電影獎及最佳創意獎。
