摘要通過「七五」至「十五」期間甜菜種質資源的主要農藝性狀鑒定、品質分析和種質創新研究，鑒定、篩選出一大批豐產、高糖、抗病的種質資源材料，同時對其性狀改良，創造出一些經濟性狀優良、適應性強、配合力高、遺傳穩定的新型優異種質，有的已做為預選種應用於我國的育種實踐中，並育成新品種在生產上大面積推廣應用。
