通過材料力學疲勞性能曲線和斷裂力學之間有關參量間的演變關系，得到了疲勞壽命與裂紋半長的關系，即疲勞壽命的折算裂紋長度，建立了兩者之間的函數關系並利用這個函數關系說明了疲勞壽命的切線模量因子法，能反映各種材料疲勞壽命的共同變化規律，試驗數據可在不同材料之間互相參考使用，具有重大意義。
