In the chapter two we discussed that the server would first use speed - 1 to serve customers when the system entered the busy state from the empty state, but when the server found the number of customers in the system exceeded the thresh - n during serving, after finishing the service of current customer it would use speed - 2 to serve the next customer till there is no customer. by the method of supplementary variable, l - transition and constructing vector markov, we attained the distribution of the queue length, the distribution of wait - time, the distribution of stay - time, the utility and etc. in the last part of this chapter, we discussed the optimal n * for thresh n which minimizing the cost function and we illustrate the cost function behaves for various parameter selections by a numerical study

Chapter 2 of this paper, by using a new method of proof, we obtain the weak ergodic convergence theorem for general semigroups of asymptotically nonexpansive type semigroups in reflexive banach space. by theorem 2. 1 of chapter 1 we get the weak ergodic convergence theorem of almost orbit for general semigroups of asymptotically nonexpansive type semigroups in reflexive banach space. by this method of proof, we give the weak ergodic convergence theorems for right reversible semigroups. by theorem 2. 1 of chapter l, we generalize the result to almost orbit case. so we can remove a key supposition that almost orbit is almost asymptotically isometric. it includes all commutative semigroups cases. baillon [ 8 ], hirano and takahashi [ 9 ] gave nonlinear retraction theorems for nonexpansive semigroups. recently mizoguchi and takahashi [ 10 ] proved a nonlinear ergodic retraction theorem for lipschitzian semigroups. hirano and kido and takahashi [ 11 ], hirano [ 12 ] gave nonlinear retraction theorems for nonexpansive mappings in uniformly convex banach spaces with frechet differentiable norm. in 1997, li and ma [ 16 ] proved the ergodic retraction theorem for general semitopological semigroups in hilbert space without the conditions that the domain is closed and convex, which greatly extended the fields of applications of ergodic theory. chapter 2 of this paper, we obtain the ergodic retraction theorem for general semigroups and almost orbits of asymptotically nonexpansive type semigroups in reflexive banach spaces. and we give the ergodic retraction theorem for almost orbits of right reversible semitopological semigroups

It is a main task of general topology to compare different spaces. mappings which connect different spaces are important tools to complete it. which mapping preserves some special generalized metric space is a basic probleme in investigating generalized metric spaces by mappings. g - first countable spaces and g - metri / able spaces have many important topological properities so to investigate which mapping preserves them is very necessary. in [ 7 ], clnian liu and mu - ming dai prove that open - closed mappings preserve g - metri / able spaces ; whether open mappings preserve g - first countable spaces is an open probleme asked by tanaka in [ 6 ]. in [ 4 ], sheng - xiang xia introduces weak opewn mappings and investigates the relations between them and 1 - sequence - covering mappings. in the second section of this article, we investigate weak open mappings have the relations with other mappings and prove that the finite - to - one weak open mappings preserve g - first countable, spaces and weak open closed mapping preserve g - metrizable spaces. in the third section, we investigate an example to show that perfect mappings do not preserve g - first countable spaces, g - metrizable spaces, sn - first countable spaces and sn - metrizable spaces
