實驗結果表明，維持二次側冷卻水流量不變，無論對于純凈蒸汽還是含有空氣的蒸汽冷凝，隨著蒸汽發生器加熱功率的增大（即蒸汽流量增大） ，有效冷凝段長度將加長；當蒸汽中含有少量空氣，有效冷凝段長度也會明顯加長；提高系統壓力，有效冷凝段長度將縮短。
