由於常規pid控制器參數調整中存在不少缺陷，如調整方向難以確定，容易引起系統崩潰，有些方法需要知道預先確定系統模型參數等。針對這些情況，本文通過研究小波變換的特點以及控制系統單位階躍響應和響應的小波變換之間的關系，在應用hatlab軟體進行了大量模擬研究的基礎上，找到了表徵系統狀態的小波指標，提出了一種基於小波變換的pid參數自調整演算法，為研究小波變換在控制領域的應用提供了新的思路。
