    由於目前商用工作流管理系統中petri網建模方法的應用已經比較成熟，所以本文以petri網的建模方法為基礎，對其進行相應的擴充，構造出適合於工程設計項目管理業務流程的著色擴充petri網（ cxpn網）建模方法；綜合考慮價格、數據模型的存儲與檢索效率以及技術成熟度等因素，選取關系數據庫對工程設計項目管理工作流（ edwfms ）系統的對象數據模型進行存儲；對于工程設計過程中的長事務管理給出了支持協同工作的擴展事務模型，同時對長事務管理中的幾個關鍵技術進行了研究；提出了基於版本樹的資源對象版本管理模型，對復雜的資源版本進行控制；最後，給出了支持分散式工程設計項目管理工作流系統的擴充c s應用體系結構。
