    此外，許教授並提出要有效控制學童體重，必須採用多元策略，包括從體能活動、飲食控制及家庭參與三方面著手。該系並於今日舉行學童肥胖與體能活動工作坊，有數十名老師報名參加。工作坊上，由許世全教授主講學童肥胖與健康課題，沈劍威導師介紹控制學童肥胖體能活動建議，上海體育學院陸大江教授及香港教統局資訊科技教育組介紹透過資訊科技控制學童肥胖運動處方的電腦軟體，並由學校老師現身說法分享在學推行控制學童肥胖的運動計劃經驗。
