1999年公布的國標《加工中心檢驗條件?精度檢驗》 （參照iso dis10791訂）中，直線度等項的檢測做了更為科學的實質性更改，坐標移動的直線度以由只檢測垂直面和水平面內的兩個平移線值誤差，改為用移動坐標方向之外的另兩個坐標的平移線值誤差和移動部件繞三個坐標軸的俯仰，偏擺和傾斜三個角值誤差綜合表徵。
