筆者在以往工作的基礎上，利用新鉆探井、錄井、測井、地震等資料，運用地震資料人機聯作解釋系統，進行地震資料的測井約束反演等，建立墾西地區的精細模型，並利用成藏動力學系統的理論，研究墾西地區的油藏形成、分佈及運聚模式，提高了對地下油氣藏情況的客觀認識，有效指導該區的勘探開發工作。
