本文提出的模糊相似比較法和工時法相結合的模具報價方法，就是模擬傳統的經驗報價中人的報價行為過程，利用模糊理論中的模糊隸屬度來量化新工件與原有的在以往生產實際中積累的一系列相關模具樣本的有用信息，計算它們之間的模糊貼近度，進行相似度比較，找出與新工件最相似的三個模具樣本，在此基礎上利用預測技術中的指數平滑法估算出新工件的生產成本。
