In this paper, the influence of cycles of drying and wetting on strength and deformation are studied by means of routine direct shear apparatus, triaxial apparatus and light consolidation apparatus which include : the influence of force of constraint on strength, the total stress strength of expansive soils with different saturation degree, the influence of cycles of drying and wetting on the total stress strength, the relation between saturation degree and compression modulus and that between saturation degree and void ratio, the influence of cycles of drying and wetting on the effective stress strength, the relation between saturation degree and generalized suction

    本文利用常規直剪儀、三軸儀以及輕便固結儀,分別對飽和膨的強度和變形特性以及干循環對強度和變形的影響進行了一系列的試驗研究。以飽和度、干循環次數為變量,分別探求了外力約束對膨強度的影響,不同飽和度膨的總應力強度特性,干循環對飽和膨總應力強度的影響,飽和度與壓縮模量以及孔隙比的關系,干循環對飽和膨有效應力強度指標的影響,廣義吸力與飽和度的關系,建議了一組計算飽和膨變形及強度特性的經驗公式。
