針對論文設計中用到的兩個比較重要的器件hsp50214b下變頻器和hsp50215上變頻器，作了較為深入的研究並給出了詳細的描述，包括基本特徵、框架結構、各主要部分原理及在設計中的應用；在最後一章，通過設計一個短波無線電臺，將前面的基礎理論尤其是數字調制、解調及數字上、下變頻等應用於實踐中，通過實例討論話音數據傳輸的軟體無線電實現結構及設計方法，包括發射模塊中的上變頻調制和接收模塊中下變頻解調等，並在bluewave系統的sb3410平臺上運行驗證，取得了較為滿意的結果。
