Applying the principle and research method of cultural anthropology, this paper analyzes natural and cultural background, settlemental model, prototype of architecture, character of prototype, identity of space through the hakka house of huang family in kengzi town as a sample which is typical of hakka local - style dwelling. then concludes that relations between settlemental model and social organization of the huang family and indicates that the surrounding house - form is typical not only as a unique dwelling form, but also embodies their social formation of " living in compact communities " of hakka architecture
本論文以坑梓鎮黃氏宗族客家住屋這一客家民居為研究對象，應用文化人類學的基本理論和研究方法，通過分析其自然文化背景、聚落形態、建築型制、類型特徵、空間特性等因素，指出黃氏宗族聚落形態和社會組織間的關系，並表明其住屋典型類型? ?圍屋，不但在居住模式上表現出獨特的個性，還體現了客家建築「聚居」的社會形態內涵。
