    本文在分析國內外cad cae capp技術各自的發展歷史與現狀的基礎上,結合專家系統,提出了智能集成的研究方向。以齒輪類零件作為研究對象,在分析了其特徵及約束的基礎上,利用數據庫技術和圖形單元建模技術,建立了基於約束的特徵模型,實現了cad cae capp之間的數據傳輸和信息共享;分析了齒輪參數確定、強度校核的一般原則,進行基於特徵的齒輪強度校核的演算法研究;將專家知識融入在cad 、 cae 、 capp各個過程中實現了設計過程、強度分析和工藝分析的智能化。在上述研究的基礎上,利用autocad2000提供的activexautomation技術,以vb為開發工具,開發出了齒輪的cad cae capp集成軟體,並與其它機械通用件設計系統進行了集成。
