Rapd （隨機擴增多態性dna ）技術是二十世紀90年代發展起來的一項dna分子多態性檢測技術，它建立於聚合酶鏈式反應（ pcr ）技術基礎之上，利用隨機合成的寡聚核苷酸序列為引物（一般為10個bp ） ，分別與dna的兩條單鏈結合，在dna聚合酶的作用下，對基因組的特定區域進行pcr擴增，其電泳結果為不同大小和數目的dna譜帶即rapd圖譜，可反映基因組相應區域的dna多態性。
