1979年正式成立中國藥理學會， 1980年在周金黃教授的倡導下在長沙舉行了第一次全國心血管藥理學術會議，成立了中國藥理學會心血管藥理專業委員會，它的任務是負責國內外心血管藥理學術交流，加強與心血管藥理學有關的基礎學科如植物化學、有機化學、制藥學以及臨床醫學的聯系，發揮橋梁作用。 -
