針對配電網饋線自動化的故障分佈處理模式和故障集中控制模式，分別採用了不同的研究方法：在配電網採用故障分佈處理的模式下，結合應用於城市手拉手配電環網的環網開關櫃的技術改造，設計了一種新的電壓-電流型饋線自動化模式，利用可編程序控制器（ plc ）來控制饋線上的重合器和分段開關來實現配電網饋線的故障區域定位。
