Secondly, based on the above method, this paper presents another new method for color image compression coding by using correlation of color components combined with wavelet transform. in this method, one of the three color components of a color image is coded using wavelet transform zerotree coding, and the component is segmented into several non - overlapping subregions of the same size. based on the calculated correlation coefficients between the component and the other two components in the same subregion, the coding for the other two components becomes the coding of correlation coefficients
其二在上面這種方法的基礎上，又提出了利用色彩分量相關性結合小波變換實現對彩色圖象的壓縮編碼，該方法同樣是對彩色圖象三個色彩分量之一進行小波變換零樹編碼，將該色彩分量分割成若干個大小相等不重疊的子塊，計算出該色彩分量在每個子塊中與另兩個色彩分量在同一子塊的相關系數，由此對另兩個色彩分量的壓縮編碼就轉變成對相關系數的編碼。
