基於以上的試驗，我們分析了企鵝糞便沉積物中微生物生態與環境變化和環境污染的關系並提出了沉積物中出現的異常在環境和氣候方面可能的解釋，初步建立了以分析企鵝糞便沉積物中微生物多樣性為手段的新的考察南極氣候變遷和環境污染的思路。
