The collector of stamp revenue is responsible for the collection of the tax. within fourteen days after the 30th day of september, the 31st day of december, the 31st day of march and the 30th day of june in each year, the proprietor of every hotel shall pay to the collector the amount of the tax payable in respect of the three monthly periods ending on those dates ; at the same time the manager of that hotel shall sign and send to the collector a return setting out the total amount of accommodation charges made by the proprietor of the hotel during such period for which the tax has been paid
印花稅署署長負責收取酒店房租稅，每所酒店的東主，均須在每年9月30日、 12月31日、 3月31日及6月30日後14天內，就截至上述日期為止的各段3個月期間，向署長繳交須繳的稅項，同時該酒店的經理亦須在一份列明酒店東主在所繳交稅項有關的期間內所收取的房租總額的申報表上簽署，並將申報表送交署長。
