強降水預報是中尺度數值預報的難點之一。為了提高數值預報模式對位於中國西北乾旱地區寧夏的強降水預報能力，本文研究了地球同步氣象衛星紅外資料與寧夏夏季逐時降水的關系。應用地球同步氣象衛星紅外資料，通過優選人工神經網路和最優擬合后的非線性回歸這兩種非線性方法，反演了寧夏自地表到300hpa不同層次的相對濕度。
