末次冰期中期，即深海氧同位素第3階段的氣候在我國，尤其是青藏高原地區表現出明顯不同於深海沉積物和極地冰芯記錄的特徵：青藏高原古里雅冰芯的~ （ 18 ） o曲線表明3階段存在特強夏季風事件，其氣溫和降水接近於末次間冰期5e階段，超過全新世，其暖濕程度已經達到間冰期的程度；而深海氧同位素3階段在深海、南極、格陵蘭冰芯的氧同位素記錄中均為弱暖期，雖較2階段、 4階段溫暖，但顯著低於全新世大暖期和末次間冰期。 -
