本文對同步發電機組穩定控制的研究現狀進行了綜述和分析。認為：與常規pss相比，調速器側pss （ gpss ）具有良好的解耦特性，更宜用於多機系統的穩定控制；由於水輪機特性的強非線性、工況的時變性以及引水系統的水擊效應所導致的水電系統數學模型的不確定性，採用智能控制理論設計水電機組gpss較常規設計方法更為合理。
