The common chest shall be in the house of the chief alderman or of the steward, and the three keys of it shall be lodged with three discreet men of the aforesaid twelve sworn men, or with three of the skevins, who shall loyally take care of the common seal, and the charters and of the treasure of the town, and the standards, and other muniments of the town ; and no letter shall be sealed with the common seal, nor any charter taken out of the common - chest but in the presence of six or twelve sworn men, and of the alderman or steward ; and nobody shall sell by any kind of measure or weight that is not sealed, under forfeiture of two shillings
公共櫥櫃應當安放在首席會長或管事的房間內，櫥櫃的三把鑰匙將由上述12個宣誓者中的三位謹慎者保管，或由三位糾察員保管，他們應當忠誠的存放公章、章程、城市的財寶與徽旗以及其他的城市憑證；任何信件都不能加蓋公章，在沒有六位或十二為宣誓者以及會長或管事在場的情況下，不得從櫥櫃內取出任何文書；任何人都不能用未經蓋章的量器或砝碼營業，違者將處以兩先令的罰款。 -
The vendor shall not be called upon or be bound to produce or procure the production of any muniments of title, plans, deeds, instruments or writings whatsoever not in the vendor ' s custody or possession nor to procure attested certified or other copies of or extracts from such other muniments of title, plans, deeds, instruments or writings nor to give any information in relation thereto and no objection or requisition shall be made in respect thereof
買主不得向賣主要求交出不在賣主手上之任何契據文件圖則或手稿或要求交出該等契據文件圖則或手稿之證明副本或要求賣主透露該等契據或文件之內容並不能就此提出反對或要求。 -
The muniments of title in the vendor ' s possession may be inspected at any time prior to completion during business hours at the office of the vendor ' s solicitors and the purchaser, whether or not he shall have inspected the same prior to the sale, shall be deemed to have full notice thereof
如要查閱由賣主擁有之所有權契據，可以在完成買賣前任何時間，于辦公時間內往賣主律師事務所查閱，而無論買主在出售前是否已經查閱過該等文件，均會被視作已知其內容。 -
The purchaser shall admit the identity of the property purchased by him with that comprised in the muniments of title offered by the vendor as the title thereto upon the evidence afforded by a comparison of the description in the particulars of the property with the descriptions contained in such muniments
買主須知其所投得之物業如章程內所開各節與賣主所持之契據內所開各節比對相符則買主必須承認其所投買之物業與上手契據內所載之物業即是賣主所出賣之物業。
