This thesis, based on a survey on the physique, socio - psychological factor and life style of the scientific and technical staff of nine scientific institutes of shanxi province, makes an investigation on the health condition of the scientific and technical staff of our province, by applying the methods of inquiry, measure and documentation etc. the results show that 79 % of shanxi ' s scientific and technical staff feel, more or less, some problems in their physical mechanism, which proves that their constitution is rather low compared with the average level of taiyuan ' s adult and possesses some obvious professional features. furthermore, the staffs discomforts in mechanism are mainly related with socio - psychological factors
結果表明：山西省科技人員中有79的人自我感覺有或多或少的機能不適；與太原市城市成年人體質平均水平相比，科技人員體質偏差，且有明顯的職業特徵；此外，科技人員的諸多機能不適主要與社會心理因素有關，心態的積極與否在機能感覺方面差異顯著；體育運動對科技人員的影響主要表現在心理方面，參與運動者精神狀態明顯優于不運動者；科技人員生活習慣較合理，但參與體育鍛煉不科學，在增強體質的效果方面不明顯。
