Abstract : for building a long - span concrete - filled steel - tube ( cfst ) arch bridge with an integrated installation tower, one of the key technologies is to control the arch rib alignment of the bridge. based on the theoretical analysis and the measuring results, the designed arch rib alignment of a being built bridge can be guaranteed quality by adjusting the length of the cables on - line. the engineering application shows, by using the on - line adjusting cable technology, that it is economical and in safety for building a long - span cfst arch bridge
