本文以t . a . cross成因地層研究小組提出的以地層基準面旋迴原理為理論基礎進行成因地層分析和儲層預測的高解析度層序地層學為指導，利用鉆井、地震、巖心等多種分析資料，對遼河盆地西斜坡中部齊?曙地區沙四段地層進行了層序地層綜合研究，建立了研究區高解析度等時地層格架，在等時格架內對本區沙四段進行了沉積體系特徵及其展布規律的研究，在綜合分析成藏要素的基礎上對沙四段有利目標區進行了預測。
