須陀含-
They can tell when the scriptures were written, by whom they were written, and the meanings therein. however, they do not genuinely understand because they have not had the divine experience. they have not had the experience of being an arhat, an eighth - grade bodhisattva, a tenth - grade bodhisattva, a buddha, or even the most elementary srota - apanna, sravaka, or pratyeka buddha
所以同樣，很多人會看經念經會解釋經典，這部經是什麼時候作的誰講的是什麼意思，不過他不懂不了解，沒有內邊的神聖體驗，沒有阿羅漢的體驗，沒有八地菩薩十地菩薩或是佛的體驗，連最後那個須陀洹也沒有，連聲聞緣覺也不懂的，所以才要修行觀音法門，不然的話，為什麼要修行？ -
Similarly, we read in the scriptures about how the disciples of shakyamuni buddha and jesus christ beheld the light ; heard music ; saw the buddha or god ; and experienced the third heaven, the fourth dhyana heaven, and many other extraordinary heavens. we have heard about the eighth - grade bodhisattvas, the arhats, or srota - apannas, but we have no idea what a srota - apanna is or how a person changes after he attains the srota - apanna level or arhatship
同樣，我們看經典，聽說釋迦牟尼佛或是耶穌基督的徒弟，看到什麼光，聽到什麼音樂，看到佛看到上帝，體會得到第三的天堂第四禪天非想非非想識的天等等，那個八地菩薩阿羅漢果須陀洹果，我們都聽得到了，不過我們根本不曉得須陀洹果是什麼？
