本文在調查研究我國無縫鋼管行業基本情況的基礎上，應用產業組織理論和波特競爭力量模型對行業的現狀、環境條件、組織結構和競爭性進行了比較詳細的分析，並據此提出了控制總量、調整結構的總體發展戰略思路和組建大型戰略集團、集中一點戰略和多樣化經營戰略三種實現這一思路的戰略模式，以提高行業的集中度和加速整個行業的結構調整。從而提高行業的國際競爭能力和贏利能力。
