本文簡要介紹了樁基承載力的研究現狀並指出將神經網路引入樁基工程的意義，從介紹單樁荷載傳遞機理出發總結了影響單樁極限承載力的五種因素（樁周土的工程性質、樁身結構尺寸、樁的剛度、時間以及施工工藝）並提取了相應的參數；引用神經網路基本原理，詳細介紹了改進bp神經網路的研究過程，從而建立了預測鉆孔灌注樁極限承載力的神經網路模型；並詳細討論了本模型的神經網路輸入結點信息的提取，在工程實例的基礎上進行了數值計算。
