Hitherto the tropical cyclone warning for shipping is issued only in english. starting from this month the chinese version of the shipping warning is also available from the observatory s website once every three hours for use by personnel of shipping companies, mariners and members of the public who operate in chinese
由今年八月起，天文臺在網頁內發放為船舶提供的熱帶氣旋警告中文版（樣本見附圖二） ，每三小時更新一次，以方便使用中文的船公司人員、航海和公眾人士。
