在電力工程結構中，由於使用功能要求，許多結構中不同程度地存在著受扭工作狀況，及彎扭、剪扭聯合作用工作狀況，然而迄今為止，國內外對離心鋼管混凝土結構的工作性能的研究大多局限在單一荷載工況情況下，尚未見組合荷載作用的研究，因此，能否深入了解離心鋼管混凝土構件的扭轉和在組合作用下的受力特性，成為影響該結構形式能否進一步推廣應用和發展的關鍵技術問題。
