In this paper, the author analyses various form factors and shapes of a few hullform alternatives of a 2000 teu container, by use of the methods of experience, design charts, to estimate their performance ; adopting numerical methods to calculate their drag and effective horse power, studies the principal effects of both form - factor variations and hull shape change on their hydrodynamic performance, and other problems to be noticed in ship remoulding
本文主要通過對2000箱集裝箱船的幾個變形船型的主要參數和形狀進行分析，採用經驗法和圖譜方法對各變形船型作性能估算分析，並用數值方法計算各船型的阻力性能，初步探討船型參數、形狀改變對性能影響的主要方面，研究改型時應注意的問題。
