計算方法之一為k值法：作拉深件水平投影圖，在該投影圖面積方程中引入k值，利用面積相等原理解方程，求得k值，沿水平投影外沿加上k值，即為毛坯圖的外廓形狀。計算方法之二為拉深線法：沿拉深件水平投影圖外廓，在任意點作該點切線的法線，在該法線上以該點拉深件的高度為量，在法線上取截點。
