指出，由於火山巖儲集層非均質性極強，在火山巖油藏開發初期切不可貿然採用注水開發，應在實驗井組中取得經驗后，方可逐步推廣；開發初期，實施加密井調整措施，可提高儲集層動用程度，延長油藏無水開采期，改善開發效果；開發中期鉆一定數量的水平井，可進一步提高單井產能，使油藏保持較長期的穩產、高產。
