隨著嵌入式技術的發展，手持或便攜式設備越來越多的應用於科學研究、消費類電子、工程設計與實施等方面。為適應交通事故現場勘查及其它工程現場測距的應用需求，本文提出並實現了基於嵌入式arm晶元at91rm9200的三維激光測距系統，該系統具有便攜性、易升級、易擴展等性能。
