根據軍方提出的要求，本課題研製的遙控坦克靶車應具有遙控、精度高、維護性好、無軌道、自帶動力等特點，以達到訓練時進行火炮或導彈靜對靜、靜對動、動對靜、動對動設擊等課目的要求。靶車調速系統要求低慣性、高精度、高可靠性、魯棒性好；無線通訊系統要求高可靠性、抗干擾能力強；微機控制系統要求盡量採用先進技術、元器件貨源可靠、高可靠性、結構盡量簡單，具有串列通訊、數字顯示、系統故障自檢及顯示等功能。本文的工作分為三大部分：電力拖動方案的提出及確定、對通訊系統的技術要求及設備選型、微機控制系統方案的確定。
