牛頓阻力定律These changes violate newton ' s first law, the law of inertia which implies that more energy is needed to change inertia ( to overcome frictional forces and inertia ) than to maintain inertia ( to overcome only frictional forces )
這些變化違背了牛頓第一定律，也就是慣性定理在不受外力或所受外力為零的狀態下，物體總保持勻速運動或靜止也就是要改變物體的慣性需要額外的能量（以克服摩擦阻力和慣性）大於保持物體慣性的能量（僅克服摩擦阻力） 。
