第二是在製作線譜對參數（ lsf ）矢量量化碼本時，引入了目前提高lsf碼本性能的兩個方法:在利用重點幀對非重點幀作預測時，借鑒自適應幀間矢量量化（ sivp ）去除相關性演算法的優點，提出了以固定矩陣去除相關性的方法，有效的控制了預測后殘差的動態范圍，提高了對殘差矢量量化的精度;採用聯合碼本優化多級矢量量化演算法（ jco - msvq ） ，改良多級矢量量化碼本的性能。
