希望通過對中學古詩詞教學現狀的梳理和反思，對傳統詩歌教學經驗的回顧，來去蕪存精，以便匡正弊端，進而在吸收詩歌美學、語文教育學、語文教育心理學原理的基礎上，談談自己對中學古詩詞教學的一些實踐性的研究，試圖在實踐中尋求中學古詩詞教學的多種形式、多種手段，擬解決中學古詩詞教學誤區中所存在的一些關鍵問題，全文分為四章：第一章是導論，主要是通過對傳統詩教的回顧來進一步闡明中學古詩詞教學的意義。
