In this paper, finite element method ( fem ) was used to study the biomechanical responses and injury mechanism of pedestrian lower extremities in traffic accidents. the fem model was used also to predict the risk of bone fracture of the lower extremities. the results from this study can forms a background knowledge to improve the safety performance of passenger car bumper system for protection of pedestrian lower extremities in traffic collisions
為了減少行人在碰撞事故中下肢的損傷風險，本文採用有限元分析的方法，研究了行人下肢的碰撞生物力學響應和損傷機理，並模擬分析預測了下肢的骨折風險，研究結果可為改進車輛保險杠系統的安全性能提供依據。Using the simulation method coupling of multi - body and finite element, the simulation model of frontal impact, side impact and car - pedestrian impact of a certain type of vehicle is established by madymo software, and the comparative analysis of impacting performance of the vehicle fitting with or without this equipment is made out. the simulation results show that the vehicle fitting with this equipment has better damping and energy absorption performance. combines with frontal bumper air bag, not only the injury to the occupants and pedestrians in crash accident can be decreased further, but also the damage to the vehicle can be decreased
