本課題主要針對目前家庭網路發展迅速的情況，對家庭網路設備之間進行數據互通方式的發展進行了研究，結合目前流行的家庭網路組網方式，電力線載波技術和數字通訊技術，提出了一種新型的家庭網路設備之間的互聯方案，並按照這個思路設計出了實現這個方案所需的網路中繼設備。
